In this 1.5 hour long class you will learn what ear seeds are, a brief history of their use, and some basic ear anatomy and pressure points. There will be time to practice applying the seeds as well. You will receive a starter pack of 3 different types of seeds, a tweezer for applying seeds, and handouts on commonly used points.

This is a free walk in clinic for ear acupuncture or seeds. The treatment given is called the 5 needle protocol and is a series of acupuncture points located in the outer ear that regulate and calm the nervous system. Once the needles are placed, people typically rest quietly with them in for 20-45 minutes in our community setting. This clinic is open to both returning and new patients of our clinic. Ear seeds will be available for those not comfortable with needles.
Donations to MCA help fund our pay-it-forward program and are tax deductible. For every $20 donated to MCA, we will give 1 free acupuncture treatment to a community member.
All new patients need to call to schedule their first appointment. You will be able to schedule subsequent appointments online.
MCA is a Community Care Network provider through the VA. Veterans can request a referral from the VA and receive acupuncture treatments at no cost to them with an active referral.
Masking is optional
We provide surgical and KN95 masks at the front desk free of charge
Patients can request that their acupuncturist wear a mask while treating them
