COVID-19

At Milwaukee Community Acupuncture, we are doing everything we can to keep our patients and staff members healthy. We have made a lot of changes around the clinic based on CDC, EPA, OSHA and the Wisconsin and Milwaukee Health Department guidelines. Please read below for updates on our clinic systems and policies.

COVID-19 Clinic Updates and Changes

  • Masks are now optional for staff and patients. We provide surgical and KN95 masks free of charge to patients who want one at the front desk. Patients can request their acupuncturist wear a mask while treating them if they aren’t already.

  • Please reschedule if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19. Symptoms include fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, or new loss of taste or smell. Even if you have tested negative, please wait until your symptoms have subsided to come in for an appointment.

  • Please wear a mask in the clinic if you have a known COVID exposure within 10 days of your visit, even if you aren't experiencing symptoms.

  • Hand sanitizer is available for use throughout the clinic

  • Treatment chairs are either wiped down between patients or covered with sheets that are laundered between patients

  • Blankets and hand towels are laundered between each patient

  • True HEPA air purifiers are located in each treatment area and at the reception desk

  • Frequently touched surfaces in the clinic and bathrooms are sanitized regularly

Price Increase & Cancellations

Due to our decrease in patient volume, we have made a small increase in our sliding scale in order to stay sustainable. Our new sliding scale is $20-50. Thank you for your understanding.

Our cancellation policy remains the same, however, our late cancellation / no show fee has increased to $20. If you are unable to make it to your appointment, you can cancel up to 12 hours beforehand without receiving a fee. If you or a family member are sick, we will not charge you a late cancellation fee. Please call, email or cancel your appointment online through our scheduling service.

If you are coming in for an appointment, please read our updated appointment guidelines below to prepare for your visit.

New patients, please fill out your online paperwork prior to your appointment.
